SUSANNAH BARON

From a young age, Susannah fell in love with theatre for its perfect mix of collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, technical skill, and community, and spent most of her school years actively involved in drama club, community theatre, and professional training. She received her B.F.A. from Syracuse University, majoring in Theatre Design / Technology with a focus in Lighting Design, and following her studies moved to NYC in 2014. She has freelanced extensively as a Lighting Designer, Electrician, and Technical Lead in theatre, events, and concerts, and served as the Production Electrician at the McKittrick Hotel (home of Sleep No More, long running immersive experience). She is thrilled to be working with Overture Arts in their inaugural season, and to play and work with this fabulous team!

JEN MARTIN

  • Jen Martin is the Administrative Assistant of Overture Arts and is on a mission to inspire others through a creative lens. As a former member of Panas Players, she was motivated to create, strived to learn, and thrived in the loving community that was generated by Bryelle and Tammy. Through being a cast member, a dance captain, and a member of the executive board, Jen was able to find her calling and, more importantly, her home, her safe space. With the knowledge she carried from Panas Players, she took that to Wagner College, where she enforced the “better together” environment in all the extracurriculars she was a part of: President of Alpha Mu Theta (Honor Society of Arts Administration), Vice President of the Wagner Campus Activities Board, Secretary of the Nicolais School of Business Brand Ambassadors, and Senator of the Student Government Association. Jen holds a BS in Arts Administration with a minor in Psychology and is currently pursuing a MA in Entrepreneurship in the Arts at SUNY Purchase.

SABRINA ROCCO

  • Sabrina Rocco, a true artist at heart, has immersed herself in various forms of artistic expression from a young age. She’s ventured into the realm of performing arts, seamlessly transitioning from the stage to working backstage thanks to the work of Bryelle and Tammy through Panas Players. Currently pursuing her degree in Education, she has become an integral part of Iona's artistic community, notably as the lighting coordinator for the Black Student Union (BSU) experience and a dedicated costume crew member of the university's resident theatre company. She hopes to bring her creative passion to new generations as a future educator. Sabrina's artistic journey doesn't stop at traditional theatre roles; she is also expanding her skills into new mediums such as photography and videography through Overture Arts. Her passion lies in capturing the essence of theater-making and showcasing the intricate behind-the-scenes process of building not only a theatre company, but building a theatre community.
